Enclosed are the following documents:

It is important that you register your students online. Registration will is already open. We will be able to download all the information we need from the National/State Registry. You will also be registering on the skillsusa.org website for the Regional Contest. Information will be following once they give it to the Regional Coordinators.

Please note that to be a member of a SkillsUSA California Chapter and to compete; all advisors and students need to register with Nationals. You can register on-line on the National site (skillsusa.org) you will need to provide a P O # or you can mail a check to the SkillsUSA National Office. Membership dues of $19 for advisors and $13 for students are to be submitted to National SkillsUSA by November 15 (for early bird registration).

The Registration Deadline is December 10, 2012.

FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS: 1. In addition, the amount of $12 per student needs to be submitted to Region 2. Make checks payable to: SkillsUSA California Region 2. Please remember that this $12 fee is in addition to the money you have already submitted to Nationals. This money is not refundable.

2. A hard copy of all Form 1’s, has to be submitted to me. The package must be postmarked no later than December 14, 2012. This will ensure that all participating schools have an opportunity to turn in their paperwork on time. It will also allow us to review the paperwork and tell you which competitions will be demos and will give you time to prepare your students.

6. Remember to refer to the 2011-2012 National Skills USA Technical Standards Championship rules and regulations for contest registration and requirements. You received this in the packet from the national Office. It is on a CD.
