Fourth Edition of Conversations B.P. Koirala India Nepal Foundation organized the fourth edition of Conversations on Monday, April 30, 2013 at Nepal Bharat Library in Sundhara, Kathmandu. The fourth edition of Conversations had eminent Nepali authors and scholars Dr. Sanjeev Uprety in Conversation with Dr. Abhi Subedi. Dr. Subedi extracted many excerpts from Dr. Uprety’s bestselling novel “Ghanachakkar”. The event was well attended; with all seats taken and many standing throughout the event.

The event was well received in media.

Second edition of Poemandu Organized by B.P. Koirala India Nepal Foundation and Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the second edition of Poemandu – a monthly poetry recitation programme was held at Nepal Bharat Library in Sundhara on April 25, 2013. The second edition of Poemandu had journalists of Nepal from both print and electronic media reciting their poems in Nepali, Hindi, English and Maithili.

The event was widely covered in media.

Launching of Cinemandu On Friday, April 12, 2013, B.P. Koirala Foundation and Embassy of India in Kathmandu launched Cinemandu - a monthly film screening event at Nepal Bharat Libray in Sundhara, Kathmandu. His Excellency Indian Ambasaddor Shri Jayant Prasad graced the inauguration of Cinemandu. The launching of Cinemandu screened the blockbuster Nepali film LOOT. The casts and crew of the movie attended the screening.

Under my skin…under your skin – Baptist Coelho’s presentation A selection of video works by a promising Indian artist Baptist Coelho was screened at the Nepal Bharat Library in Sundhara, Kathmandu on Thursday, April 4, 2013. This event was jointly organized by B.P. Koirala India Nepal Foundation and Kathmandu Contemporary Arts Centre (KCAC). It was moderated by eminent Nepal artist and art critic Mr. Sujan Chitrakar.

Revamping of the Mission’s Website PIC Wing revamped the Mission’s official website on April 4, 2013, which now is as per MEA, Delhi standards. Other Publicity Related Works A number of Press Releases related to India's assistance to Nepal were also issued in order to provide publicity to Government of India's assisted projects. The Mission's website and official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/IndianEmb.Kathmandu) (with 30,000 ++) regular visitors, has been regularly updated. We also have been sharing the information provided in the PD Division’s Facebook Page in this Mission’s Facebook page. Similarly, the Mission has already started its official twitter page (www.twitter.com/eoiktmnp) and youtube channel (www.youtube.come/eoiktmnp)
