Preamble We are delighted to welcome you to Atlanta. Hartsfield-Jackson is the nation’s busiest airport and one of the easiest to navigate. The airport is extremely well signposted.

We hope to pick most of you at the airport; we cannot promise this service for all. We will do our best for those who take advantage of the Early Bird registration date of May 1, 2006 and let the AZA Transportation coordinator know of your flight number and time of arrival.

We have put together the following information to help you join us at the Wingate Inn should we be unable to pick you up or you decide to rent a car.

FROM CONCOURSE TO BAGGAGE TERMINAL 1. You will be arriving at one of the following concourses at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: A, B, C, D, E or T. If you arrive at the T Concourse you do not need to take the airport train shuttle to baggage claim; just follow the signs and walk to the baggage terminal. 2. If you deplane from concourse A, B, C, D, or E, ask the airline person meeting you at the gate for directions to the airport train shuttle. Else follow the crowd and the signs. 3. Get onto the train going towards Baggage Claim. It runs roughly every 2 minutes. 4. Get off the train at Baggage Claim. 5. Follow the crowd up the escalator. 6. As you are going up the escalator, look up to see whether you need to turn right (North Terminal Baggage Claim – Northwest, Frontier, AirTran, Air Canada, British Airways, Continental, Lufthansa, KLM, United, USAir) or left (South Terminal Baggage Claim – Delta + Star Team) at the top of the escalator. 7. If collecting bags at the South Terminal, look up on the board to find at which baggage coral your bags will be delivered to you. If collecting bags at the North Terminal, make note of your baggage coral just BEFORE you enter the Baggage Claim area. 8. Pick up your baggage. A baggage trolley costs $3 at the airport.

Page 2 FROM AIRPORT TO WINGATE INN BY MARTA TRAIN 9. As you leave the Baggage Claim area look for the MARTA sign. MARTA is near the Baggage Claim area, see picture below. SOUTH Terminal Baggage Claim (Delta and Start Alliance) on LEFT Below. NORTH Terminal Baggage Claim (Northwest, AirTran, Etc.) on RIGHT below.

10. Purchase a BREEZE card from a machine. It costs $US1.75 per trip. You can pay by cash or credit card. For a video demonstration of how to use the BREEZE card see http://www.itsmarta.com/ 11. Walk to the turnstiles. Flash the card in front of a lighted blue circle and the turnstile will open. 12. Take the escalator up to the train platform. 13. As you come up the escalator you will see two signs: take the NORTH line train (final destination NORTH SPRINGS) from the airport (which is located at the extreme south – S7 - on the map below). Do NOT take the northeast line towards Doraville; see map below. 14. Get off at BUCKHEAD Station (N7 on map below). The journey from the airport to Buckhead is about 35 minutes. 15. Go up the stairs/escalator towards NORTH PEACHTREE ST. – you should see Maggiano’s restaurant 16. CALL the Wingate front desk at 404-869-1100. Tell them you have arrived for the FEZANA AGM and request a shuttle to pick you up 17. Ride from Buckhead station to Wingate Inn is about 5-7 minutes.

From Atlanta airport and downtown Atlanta Take I -75/85 northbound until the two roads split. Take I-85 North to GA 400 North. Take Exit 2 – the Lenox road / Buckhead exit, turn left. 2nd red light turn right onto Piedmont road. The hotel is half a mile on the left.

1. GEORGIA AQUARIUM For more information, visit http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/index.aspx

General Information: The Georgia Aquarium opened on November 23rd, 2005 as the World’s Largest Aquarium. With 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and more than 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe, you’re sure to see things you’ve never seen before!

Hours: Regular hours – 8am to 6pm. Extended Hours May 26-29: 8am to 8pm  Scheduled hours may vary. Please reserve your tickets in advance or call ahead to 404-581-4000.  The estimated time required to view the aquarium is about 3 hours  Ticket booths close one hour and fifteen minutes before closing.  The last entry will be permitted 1 hour before closing.  Tickets may sell out for any given day before ticket booths close.

Getting There:  By Road – the distance from the Wingate Inn, Buckhead, to the Georgia Aquarium is about 8.5 miles estimated to take about 15 minutes. Detailed Mapquest directions available on request. Parking is available at the Aquarium for $8 (0-4 hrs).  By MARTA Rail – the Georgia Aquarium is a short walk from the Peachtree Center MARTA station on the north south line. It will take about 10 mins from the Buckhead station (closest to the Wingate Inn) to Peachtree Center station. Hours: Daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Tours depart every 10 minutes  Reservations are highly recommended - tours tend to sell out hours and sometimes days in advance  Please call 1-877-4CNNTOUR or 404-827-2300 for reservations.

Getting There:  By Road – the distance from the Wingate Inn, Buckhead, to the CNN Center is about 8.5 miles estimated to take about 15 minutes. Detailed Mapquest directions available on request. Public Parking is available across the street at the centennial parking deck.  By MARTA Rail – the CNN Center station is adjacent to the CNN building. You will have to take a south bound train from the Buckhead station (closest to the Wingate Inna) to Five Points. At Five points, you will have to change trains from the north south line to the east west line – GOING WEST-, and get off at the first station – CNN CENTER. If you do not mind a 5-7 min. walk and do not wish to change trains, you can get off at the Peachtree Center MARTA station as described above for the Aquarium and walk to the CNN Center. 3. JIMMY CARTER LIBRARY AND MUSEUM

General Information:  The Museum of the Jimmy Carter Library includes photographs and historical memorabilia from the Carter presidency (1976 - 1981). An exact replica of the Oval Office and gifts received by the Carters are also featured. A permanent exhibit of significant events occurring during Jimmy Carter's life and political career includes photographs with interpretative text.  The Jimmy Carter Library is open to research and materials are available to any adult requiring the unique material contained in the Library. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

4. THE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. CENTER

General Information: Established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King, The King Center is the official, living memorial dedicated to the advancement of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., leader of America’s greatest nonviolent movement for justice, equality and peace. More than 650,000 visitors from all over the world are drawn annually to the King Center to pay homage to Dr. King, view unique exhibits illustrating his life and teachings and visit the King Center’s Library, Archives, his final resting place, his birth home, gift shop and other facilities.

Hours: The exhibit is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily

Free parking is available.  By MARTA Rail: Catch a south bound MARTA train from Buckhead station (near Wingate Inn). Get off at Five Points Station and catch an EAST bound train.
