Job Title: Regional Recognition Manager, Central Region
Department / Business Unit: Cambridge English
Location: Dubai U.A.E
Reports to (job title): Regional Commercial Head
JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to the achievement of Cambridge English business objectives through developing and supporting implementing of the Central Region recognition strategy - focused on growing and maintaining recognition for Cambridge English exams and ensuring this recognition converts to sales through collaboration with other Cambridge English business functions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy Development and Implementation Responsibility for developing, implementing and evaluating the recognition strategy in the region across all sectors, for all relevant Cambridge English products (working in close collaboration with Business Development, Marketing and Assessment teams within the Global Network teams in region, as well as the Global Recognition team in Cambridge) Ensuring the recognition strategy is implemented within budget, that there is effective evaluation of investment and that all financial procedures are followed.
Account Management Proactive management of key recognising organisation (RO) relationships with regular face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders and institutions. Coordination and support of other colleagues in managing their key accounts. Ensure that the ROs effectively and publicly advertise and implement (on their website, in their internal brochures, etc.) the recognition of Cambridge Exams that they agreed to.
Management of RO accounts in the CRM system
Recognition Opportunities
Identification of new recognition opportunities, as well as online and offline solutions for acquiring increased recognition.
Identification of need and working closely with marketing colleagues locally and in Cambridge to produce marketing materials and presentations aimed at ROs. Sales Opportunities
Work closely with marketing to integrate campaigns to promote recognition to external stakeholders, customers and end users and drive sales conversion rates
Qualification of any sales opportunities at ROs for passing on to the Business Development team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
Graduate level education, preferably with a marketing / business qualification
Skills
Proficiency in English and a local language – CEFR C1 level Strong relationship building, listening and diplomacy skills, necessary to build excellent relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers. Good communication skills (interpersonal, presenting, persuading etc), including the ability to speak with and influence senior level staff. Strong project management skills Computer literacy
