2012 HELENE MOSLEY MEMORIAL TREASURE FOREST AWARDS

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

February 17 Trigger letter is sent from the Alabama Natural Resources Council Chairman (ANRC) – Dr. Jim Shepard.

February 17 – April 20 County committees nominate a TREASURE Forest Landowner for the award. Nominations will be sent to the Chairman of the TREASURE Forest Committee – Joel Glover.

April 20 – May 4 Regional selection teams review nominations, select two finalists, and visit properties to determine the regional recipient. Team leaders will provide certificate name information for recipients to the Chairman of the TREASURE Forest Committee – Joel Glover.

May 4 – May 11 Recipients notified by letter from the Chairman of the TREASURE Forest Committee – Joel Glover.

After May 11 ANRC Chairman Dr. Jim Shepard sends announcement of recipients to members of the ANRC.

June Presentations prepared by Alabama Forestry Commission

June - July Follow-up letters with invitations for the end of the year activities are sent from the Alabama Natural Resources Council – Dr. Jim Shepard.

October Regional recipients recognized.
