Woodgate Choir Fundraiser
Choir Students and Parents,
To raise money for our end of the year trip, we are kicking off our Fundraiser with a little harmless mischief. However, some of you are about to get caught in your “law-breaking” ways and get placed under aREST. If you get placed under aREST, you must pay the bail money, made payable to Woodgate Choir Bail Bonds. Here is how it is all going to work…
On our Fall Concert, Thursday, October 20th, we will hold an auction to kick everything off. The highest bidder gets to put their winning bid into the “Bail Bonds” company and thus becomes the Boss. They get to choose 3 people/houses to place under aREST. That evening, some parent volunteers will go out and place some wooden “Rest” stakes in their yards. In order to have the rests removed, they must follow the directions on the “aREST Warrant” and pay their bail to Woodgate Choir. The price of bail will be as follows:
$5.00 Signs will be removed within 3 days, the Boss chooses the next house $10.00 Signs will be removed within 2 days, the Boss chooses the next house $25.00 Signs will be removed the same day, the Boss chooses the next house $50.00 Signs will be removed the same day, AND you/your child get to select the next house to be aRESTed.
Accompanying the rest stakes will be directions. Please follow the directions to ensure that the fundraiser works exactly as it is designed. We will be aRESTing houses beginning on October 20th and continuing until November 18th.
Per Midway ISD fundraising policies, there are a few options for everyone. You can: 1. “Opt In” meaning that your home will be eligible to be placed under aREST. Please note that I will be obtaining addresses from the Midway Database. It is my job and responsibility to ensure you that privacy and respect will be conducted in all matters. 2. “Opt In as a Bail Bondsman” meaning that you will be contributing a onetime gift to the fundraiser, however your house is not eligible to be placed under aREST. 3. “Opt Out” meaning that you wish to not participate in the fundraiser. Please Sign and Return the following Form…
