To: Grand Line Officers, Past Grand Commanders, Eminent Commanders, Council Officers and all Sir Knights of the Constituent Commanderies of the Grand Commandery, Knights Templar, State of New York.

Knightly Greetings:

1. Pursuant to a resolution at the 197th Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery at Albany, New York. The 198th Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery, Knights templar of the State of New York will convene in Batavia, New York on September 16th, 17th & 18th, 2011. 2. The headquarters will be the Clarion Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn), 8250 Park Road, Batavia, New York 14020. All meetings and activities will be held therein. 3. The Office of the Grand Captain General, Registration Committee, and Credentials Committee will be on the first floor in the Main Lobby area. 4. The Commander and all Representatives of each Commandery will report to the Committee on Credentials immediately upon arrival. All Council Officers or Proxies, Past Commanders and Sir Knights must register individually. A blank form of proxy must be filled out properly, and filed with the Credentials Committee upon registration. Do not mail to the Grand Recorder. The offices mentioned in item 3 will be open from 8 AM to 5 PM Friday, September 16th, 2011 and 8 AM to 11 AM Saturday, September 17th, 2011. 5. All room reservations are to be made by telephone directly with the hotel: Clarion Hotel 8250 Park Road mention Grand Commandery Batavia, New York 14020 for room rate $75 per night Ph. 585-344-2100 6. Commanderies or Zones that are entering a Drill Team for competition will have their Captains report to the Chairman of the Drill Team Committee, Sir Knight Bert Larson, as soon as they register. They will then receive their orders and be assigned a time to present themselves for competition. 8. Dispensation is hereby granted for traveling to and from the Annual Conclave. The privilege of entering the Grand Jurisdiction of New York and participating in all listed events is extended to all members and representatives of Affiliated Jurisdictions. Friends are invited to participate in all the social events and meals not related to the Annual Conclave official business.

The following is a schedule of the events at the 198th Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery of New York. Article XII – Sect. 30 of the Statues of the Grand Commandery of the State of New York reads: The Commander, Generalissimo, or the Captain General of any Constituent Commandery being unable to attend the Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery in person, may vote by proxy; said proxy must be registered as the Certificate of Proxy of his appointment with the Committee on Credentials prior to the opening of the Conclave. It is anticipated that the following Committees will be appointed at the first session of the Annual Conclave to serve during the time of the Conclave.
