The Venus III will hermetically parallel seam seal one square or rectangular metal/ceramic package at a time. Literature PDF for Weld (8) Sequencer This sequencer allows up to (8) Polaris AC projection welders to operate from one power source within a company. It will hold the welders by even one millisecond to keep them from welding at the exact same moment.

The Cycle master automatically controls the vacuum/purge process on the vacuum/bake-out oven by allowing both events (vacuum/purge) to be programmed with 14 different cycle times (ie: vacuum 60 seconds/purge 20 seconds, vacuum 30 seconds, purge 10 seconds, etc.)

The Oxygen monitor monitors the oxygen content in an atmosphere chamber and will cause the resistance welding system not to weld if the oxygen in the glove box exceeds a preset set point.

Venus IV Parallel Seam Sealer - This system will hermetically seal small metal/ceramic electronics packages in a square, rectangular, or round configuration. It will seal one package at a time and also has the capability of matrix sealing. The PDF for the Venus IV system is attached to this e-mail.

Venus III Parallel Seam Sealer - This system will hermetically seal one small metal/ceramic electronic package (in a square or rectangular configuration) at a time.

Accu-Weld 1100 Spot Welder (for spot welding)

Accu-Weld 4100 AC/Accu-Weld 4200 CD Projection Welding system has capability of hermetically sealing one small metal electronic package at a time in one shot by pulling a vacuum and welding, pulling a vacuum and backfilling with an inert gas and welding, or by welding without pulling a vacuum or backfilling with an inert gas.

Accu-Weld 4100 AC/4200 CD Single Station Projection welder that allows you to hermetcially weld a package with flanges on the header and lid in a vacuum or not in a vacuum. This would be how many crystal packages are welded. Accu-Weld 5100 AC/Accu-Weld 5200 CD Projection welding system with capability of hermetically sealing one small metal electronic package at a time in one shot.

Accu-Weld 5100 AC/5200 CD single station projection welder. This system will weld one projection weld type package with flanges on the header and lid at a time. This system does not have the capability of welding in a vacuum.

Accu-Weld 7100 AC/Accu-Weld 7200 CD Projection welding system with capability of hermetically sealing (8) small metal electronic packages in one shot on our (8) position rotary table welding system. Accu-Weld 7100 AC/7200 CD (8) position rotary table projection welding system. This system has (8) positions available for loading (8) packages at a time on the rotary table and welding at a rate of 2000 + per hour depending on material and size of package.

Gap Welder (Used a lot in battery welding applications and other applications) This system is excellent for battery welding (dual cantilever type electrodes).

Lid Tacker (Used to tack lids on to packages before hermetically sealing them on a parallel seam sealer and other applications) . This system was designed for tacking lids on to headers before taking them into a vacuum/bake-out oven and then into an inert gas filled glove box to hermetically seal the package shut.

Glove Box/Atmosphere chamber (Can be filled with nitrogen or other inert gases - the Polaris hermetic sealing systems are normally located in an atmosphere chamber to help with moisture control in packages before hermetically sealing them)

Vacuum/bake-out oven -- Used to bake packages under vacuum to help eliminate moisture

Gas Dryer -- Re-circulates nitrogen gas to save on expenses of nitrogen and also allows an atmosphere chamber to get to very, very, low moisture levels - these gas dryers are available in a single column or dual column configuration

Our single column and dual column Gas Dryers recirculates and dries nitrogen and also allows you to get an atmosphere chamber (glove box) below moisture levels of 20 ppm.

Gas Mixer -- Used to regulate gases that are in an atmosphere chamber, ie: 90% nitrogen/10% helium, etc. The Gas Mixer allows a flow of (2) kinds of inert gases into an atmosphere chamber (ie: 90% nitrogen/10% helium, etc.)

Moisture Monitor -- Used to monitor moisture in an atmosphere chamber The moisture monitor will monitor moisture in the glove box and if moisture exceeds a level that was preset by the customer, the welding equipment will not weld the package until the monitor reaches an acceptable level.

Oxygen Monitor -- Used to monitor oxygen in an atmosphere chamber

Weld 8 -- If several Polaris projection welders are in the same facility, the Weld 8 will keep them from actually welding at the same precise moment to help with electricity used

Cycle Master IV - Event Sequencer allowing (14) different vacuum/purge cycles in the Vacuum/Bake-out Oven

Argus I Current Analyzer - Monitors current used during the welding cycle The current analyzer is invaluable in helping set weld schedules on our projection welders. We can set a weld schedule in our facility for the customer and if they have a current analyzer, they have a starting point for welding packages in their own facility by reaching > the same current.

Snap-Tite -- Insulators for crystal packages

Atmosphere chambers (glove boxes) --The stainless steel glove boxes are available in various sizes and are used to house our parallel seam sealers and projection welders when a nitrogen or other inert gas is required.

Vacuum/Bake-out ovens --The vacuum/bake-out ovens are also available in various sizes. They are primarily used to bake small electronic packages under vacuum to help remove moisture before taking them directly into the glove box to be hermetically sealed.
