North Texas Region of USA Volleyball Donise King, Executive Director

To whom it may concern:

My name is Brian Borski and I am interested in filling one of the open positions on the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball Junior Board. I thoroughly enjoy officiating volleyball, teaching the referee and scorer clinics and building and running tournaments for the region. I believe I have the confidence, knowledge of the game, personality and attitude necessary to represent all of the individuals in the North Texas Region on the Junior Board.

I have been a volleyball official for eighteen years now and I am currently a National Official and Scorer. I also instruct about thirty referee and scorer clinics a year for the North Texas Region and have served as a Head Referee and Site Director for tournaments since 2004. As a player I have participated in various tournaments, and I have served as a Head Referee for North Texas Region Adult tournaments in the past as well. Although summer is a busy time for me at work I have officiated at the USA Championships on a regular basis and qualifiers since before I became a Junior National referee in 2002.

Recently I have also started serving as the Tournament Director for various clubs throughout the metroplex. I have built and run one day and two day tournaments for ACE Volleyball, Blocksport, the Dallas Starlings, Excel, Fort Worth Fire, Texas Assault and Texas Image.

At the collegiate level I have officiated NCAA and NJCAA volleyball for fifteen years now. I have had the opportunity to officiate DII, DIII and NJCAA matches for Carlos Rodriguez, Liz Wilson, Michele Furlong, Margo Juergens and other assigners. I have also officiated DI Spring season matches.

In addition to my USA and PAVO experience I have officiated at multiple boys’ high school matches for the past fifteen years and the SPC High School Boys tournament every one of those years working the final numerous times. I have also been a member of TASO for 12 years now officiating girls’ high school volleyball for both the Dallas Chapter and the Red River Chapter.

If there is anything else I can provide you with please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to the opportunity of serving on the North Texas Region Junior Board.

Thank you for your time. Brian Borski Brian Borski Brian Thomas Borski 972.757.2740 cell 4021 Gilbert #4…Dallas, TX 75219 [email protected]
