The Good News is that Jesus came to show us that God loves us, equips us with the gifts we need Sunday Service 10am to respect and love one another, and gives us what we need to live an abundant life. We are a healthy and active church in the Diocese of Long Island. If we are healthy, it is because of our January 15 January 22 openness to love God, come to church, and do God’s will in our lives. If we are active, it is MC Al Szigethy MC Earl Matchett through the grace of God, in the love of Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. The fact LEM Rob Wheeler LEM Linda Ehrenshaft we can shine a great beacon of light is because everything we do comes through the peace, love, Acolytes Wade Holden Acolytes Emma Cahill and grace of God. We need to continue to be kind to one another and to forgive one another as Christ has forgiven us. We need to give generously to St. John’s and to those most in need. We need to speak kindly to those who are vulnerable, even if they are different from ourselves. We are a parish in an ever secular, fast moving, dominant and violent world, so please be confident that God is our strength, if we will only allow ourselves to be drawn out to where we can never return.
