White, and Members of the Geological Commission Gentlemen: Yalobusha County, in the north central part of Mississippi includes parts of two major physiographic provinces, the North Central Hills and the Bluff hills. The larger features of the topography are wide al luvial valleys and low rolling to rugged hills. The county is part of the Yazoo Drainage Basin. Dams now under construction across the Yocona and Yalobusha Rivers will, when completed, back the water up and flood some of the most fertile land of the county.
