Here’s what we are learning:

English Language Arts: We are learning to write and answer questions using the R.A.P. strategy. Ask your child to rap the RAP strategy! We are learning to identify nouns: proper nouns, common nouns, singular and plural nouns. We are continuing to practice writing sentences with capital letters and correct punctuation.

Math: We are learning to compare and order numbers. We are learning to read a number line.

Unit of Inquiry (Science and Social Studies): Transdisciplinary Theme: Where We Are in Place and Time. Central Idea: Earth is a unique place to live. This week we will be learning about the Earth’s role in our solar system.
