Associate Research Scientist Minimum Education and Experience: Must have Ph.D. and at least 2 years experience in a related field. Functional Responsibility: Involved in research and development within the field of scientific expertise. Knowledge in the field with minimal supervisory skills. Must be able to work under both BSL-3 and BSL-4 conditions.

Associate Scientist Minimum Education and Experience: Must have Ph.D. and at least 2 years experience in a related field. Functional Responsibility: Involved in research and development within the field of scientific expertise. Knowledge in the field with intermediate leadership skills. Must be able to work under both BSL-3 and BSL-4 conditions.

Clinical Specialist Minimum Education and Experience: Must have a Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years experience in a related field. Functional Responsibility: Coordinate routine activities of clinical studies including data maintenance, grant expenditure adherence, project evaluation, meeting scheduling, and research subject interfacing. Adhere to good clinical practices, study protocols, and applicable regulations. Track and review medical reports and regulatory documents to generate reports. May serve as project liaisons to other departments, outside organizations, government agencies, and product representatives. Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Does not supervise subordinates. Must be able to work under both BSL-3 and BSL-4 conditions.

Program Manager Minimum Education and Experience: Must have Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years experience in a related field. Functional Responsibility: Provide project leadership on non-technical projects. Coordinate and monitor projects from initiation through delivery. Ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. For technical projects, see appropriate job family in the Technology (TE) survey. Direct entire business unit/area with responsibility for resource allocation, including budget and personnel. Expert knowledge of the field with advanced leadership skills.

Expert knowledge in the field with advanced leadership skills. Must be able to work under both BSL-3 and BLS-4 conditions.

Research Technologist Minimum Education and Experience: Must have at least Associate’s Degree with 0-2 years experience in a related field. Functional Responsibility: Perform laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses. Prepare and weigh samples for testing and analysis. Conduct tests, assays, and other protocols under the direction of a scientist or laboratory services manager. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean, sterile, and in proper working order. May be responsible for calibration of instruments. Work under strict supervision from senior management. Required to consult with senior peers on certain projects. Moderate skills with moderate level of proficiency.
