TEACH PROM ELIGIBILITY: 1. All students must be 15 years of age at the time of the prom; Students must provide proof of age with their registered ticket at time of entrance. 2. The prom is open to home-schooled students and their guest – one guest per student. 3. Guests of students may not bring other guests. 4. Additional guests of home-schooled students will be considered by the Prom Committee on a case-by-case basis, contingent upon agreement that all guests will abide by the prom dress code and be subject to the same standards of conduct and character as all other attendees, and only if sufficient space is available to accommodate all home-schooled students. 5. For dress guidelines, photographer information, and class ring information, please refer to the flyer that was attached to your ticket upon purchase. 6. TEACH Board members and Prom Committee adults will attend as chaperones. Other adults desiring to visit the prom to take a quick picture or observe its content must wear appropriate attire and will be limited to 15 minutes. 7. Outstanding debts to TEACH / BEACH must be met before eligibility is granted to attend the Prom.

ATTIRE GUIDELINES: Ladies: 1. All dresses need to be “prom ready”, in a “finished” state BEFORE approval can be given at the dress check. As a courtesy please do not bring unfinished/unaltered dresses. 2. If your dress has a slit, it must originate from the knee and extend to the floor. 3. Dresses should be tea to floor length. 4. Please bring all necessary undergarments that you will need to wear when you try on your dress. Remember, all proper undergarments are to be worn with your dress. 5. The back of the dress should be approximately no lower than the bottom of your shoulder blades. However, due to different shapes and body builds of each girl, or the style of the dress, the prom co-coordinators will make the final determination. 6. Concerning the issue of “cleavage”, when buying or making your dress, make sure the bodice is large enough to maintain “modesty” when jump dancing or leaning over. If there is too much cleavage showing, you will be asked to find another dress. Make sure that the side view is as modest as the front and back. (Webster’s definition of modesty is as follows= the quality or state of decency, decorum, lack of excesses. Dressing in a way that is considered to be unassuming, lack of pretentiousness, reasonable, decent.) 7. Make sure that your dress has strong, secure, sewn in strap(s), whether single or double to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. 8. If you have questions, feel free to send clear and full view picture(s) of the dress stating/showing exactly what the questionable aspect is, to us and we will return your call as soon as possible.

*** Should your dress fail to meet and maintain these guidelines during the prom, you will *** purchase a BEACH long-sleeved T-shirt ($15) to be worn over your dress. Gentlemen: 1. Guys will wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie. 2. Hair is to be neat and groomed. 3. No open toed shoes.
