Young 21 Document Path: l:\council\bills\gm\24554ahb10.docx 22 23 Introduced in the House on May 26, 2010 24 Adopted by the House on May 26, 2010 25 26 Summary: John Joseph Tindal 27 28 29 HISTORY OF LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS 30 31 Date Body Action Description with journal page number 32 5/26/2010 House Introduced and adopted HJ27 33 34 35 VERSIONS OF THIS BILL 36 37 5/26/2010 38 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A HOUSE RESOLUTION 10 11 TO EXPRESS SINCERE SORROW, UPON THE DEATH OF 12 JOHN JOSEPH “JOE” TINDAL OF SUMTER COUNTY, AND 13 TO EXTEND DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS LARGE AND 14 LOVING FAMILY AND TO HIS MANY FRIENDS. 15 16 Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of 17 Representatives were saddened to learn of the passing of a fine son 18 of our great State, John Joseph “Joe” Tindal, on May 16, 2010; and 19 20 Whereas, born in Sumter to the late Henry Drane, Jr., and Mildred 21 Wessinger Tindal, he graduated from Newberry College; and 22 23 Whereas, he was married to his beloved wife, Judge Lee Anna 24 Beard Tindal, for fourteen years, and he was devoted to his two 25 fine daughters, Zanne Tindal Morris and Joanne Tindal Overstreet 26 and two stepchildren, Melissa Roman and Robbie Padgett, who 27 blessed him with fourteen wonderful grandchildren; and 28 29 Whereas, Joe Tindal was a farmer and had formerly worked for the 30 Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, and he was 31 the owner and operator of Custom Cabinets and Doors; and 32 33 Whereas, an avid duck hunter, he enjoyed the beautiful outdoors of 34 his native State, and he loved fishing as well as hunting; and 35 36 Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of 37 Representatives are grateful for the life of John Joseph “Joe” 38 Tindal and celebrate the lasting legacy that he has left for his 39 family and friends. Now, therefore, 40 41 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 42

[5029] 2 1 That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of 2 South Carolina, by this resolution, express their sincere sorrow, 3 upon the death of John Joseph “Joe” Tindal of Sumter County, and 4 extend their deepest sympathy to his large and loving family and to 5 his many friends. 6 7 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to 8 the family of John Joseph “Joe” Tindal. 9 XX 10
