NEW YOUNG LIFE AREA START UP CONTRACT Oregon & Southwest Washington Region

1. The formation of a leadership community: Acts 2: 42-47  Signs of the Holy Spirit stirring in the hearts of adults: - Adult prayer groups around clubs - Adults who have a passion for Christ - Adults who have a passion for lost kids - Adults who have a passion for Young Life

2. The formation of a leadership community structure: Acts 13:1-3  Adults who will serve on Committee  Adults who will serve on Prayer Support Teams  Adults who will raise the money to send a staff person out in their community: TDS sub-committee  Adults who want to become volunteer leaders

3. The formation of a leadership community positions: Acts 4:32-37  Committee Chairperson  Committee TDS Chairperson  Committee Treasurer  Committee Prayer Support Coordinator  Area Director  Volunteer Young Life/WyldLife Team

4. The formation of leadership community commitments:  Four original members of the committee in place and trained by Fall of the new fiscal year.  Volunteer Leaders in place and trained by Fall of the new fiscal year.  Leadership community through the strategy of the TDS sub-committee raises advance area funding of “3 months of Budget in cash and at least 6 months in documented donor pledges.”  Leadership community under the authority of Young Life Regional Director sends out a call for an area staff person.
