Sanction: 2010-042 In granting this approval it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free and held harmless from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.

Facility: George Meyers Pool., 7900 Carr Drive, Arvada, CO 80005 Elevation 5300’, 8 lane 50-meter pool; one lane will be provided for warm-up/warm-down if meet size permits The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).

Timing: Colorado Timing System with electronic timing pads & scoreboard will be used

Format: One day, one session meet. Competitive divisions: 12 & Under; 13 & Over.

Schedule: Warm-up: 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM; Meet start time: 8:00 AM

Eligibility: Participants may only enter individual events where they have either no official time (No Time) or slower than A times. This is an invitational meet. Open to all swimmers of invited teams holding a 2010 USA Swimming membership card. Any swimmer that appears on the CSI exceptions report without registration must come to the meet prepared to show their card or they will be deck registered before they can enter the water. A surcharge of $27.00 for deck registration will be collected along with the normal registration fee. Swimmers within the 120 day transfer period must swim unattached.

Rules: 1. Current 2010 USA Swimming rules shall apply. The rules and warm-up procedures of Colorado Swimming also apply. The Meet Referee will be the final authority for the conduct of the meet. 2. All events are timed finals. Relay declarations are due at least one hour before the relays are swum. 3. Deck space is reserved for swimmers, officials, coaches and working volunteers only. Spectator seating is provided in the bleachers.

Coaches & Officials: All coaches and uniformed officials must display their USA Swimming/CSI cards when on deck. Current certification is mandatory. Coaches and officials not in compliance will not be allowed on deck. There will be a coaches meeting at 7:45am.

Entry Fee & Entry Limit: $20.00 flat fee per swimmer – includes up to 3 individual events and one relay event $.60 of each entry goes to CSI Support Fund.

Entry Procedures: The meet will be LIMITED to fit within the 4-hour rule. E-mail and postal entries will be accepted in the order they are received. Once the 4-hour time line has been reached, no further entries will be accepted. No team will be split unless they express that desire. All meet entries should be submitted on disk using Hy-Tek software, along with a printout of swimmers and events. Meet verification form must accompany entries. Out of state swimmers should provide master sheets if unable to present entries using Hy-Tek. EVENT TEMPLATE for TM and MM will be posted on the CSI website. Entry times should be submitted in LCM. If the swimmer has not swam faster than the SCY dequal time, then they are permitted to enter their best LCM time or “NT”.

Hospitality: Food and drink will be available to coaches and officials throughout the meet.

Meet Results: One copy of the meet results will be provided within two weeks to any team that requests.
