Position Title: IT Manager Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: 2515 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA Division: Finance and Operations Classification: Exempt-Administrative (IT) Supervises: System Administrator (1) General Functions: Responsible for day to day operation and managing the Information Technology department which adequately provides current and future information needs for fundraising, financial management, human resources/payroll and volunteer tracking. This position will assist System Administrator with daily functions. The statements below reflect the items considered necessary to describe the essential functions of the job identified, and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain a high level of awareness of the technological changes in the computer industry. 2. Be strategic in identifying the future IT needs of the organization and provide the proper recommendations with the CTO. Perform research into improving IT organization and growth based on direction from the CTO. 3. Develop and document computer systems as needed. 4. Assure that data, programs and documentation are secured and backed up. 5. Maintain and manage an effective staff to carry out the responsibilities assigned to the IT department. 6. Organize the daily operations of the computer systems and applications. 7. Meet with potential clients to demonstrate TRUIST software and participate in contract negotiations, software customization and all necessary follow through along with the CTO. 8. Work with outside vendors that perform IT functions for the organization to ensure they are performing all required contract duties. Make recommendations and suggest changes to contracts and vendors as needed. 9. Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field of study such as Business or Finance), Business or Finance Degree will require 7 years of IT and 3 years of IT management experience. 2. Must include Project Management capabilities and possess structure along the lines of task management. 3. Possess the following certification(s), CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ is preferred. 4. Five to ten years’ experience in the field of Information Systems, managing all phases of operations, and overall supervision of employees and department. 5. Develop, document, and administer group policies through Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment. 6. Experience administering Windows Server 2012 R2. 7. Experience administering and supporting VMware ESXi 6.0 virtual environment. 8. Experience administering and querying Microsoft SQL Server. 9. Windows based programming knowledge and experience, preferably Microsoft Visual Basic. 10. Experience in the operation of personal computers, especially in the areas of Windows 7, and Microsoft Office 2010-2016 and Office 365. 11. Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks. (Experience with Juniper switches is a plus). 12. Understanding of network and desk top/lap top security and scanning tools. 13. Working knowledge of web developing concepts including HTML and CSS. 14. Ability to understand and document Disaster Recovery procedures, goals and objectives. 15. Demonstrated ability to work with and through volunteers to accomplish the organization's goals and objectives. 16. Unquestioned confidentiality with sensitive financial and personnel matters and issues. 17. No outside business interests that might conflict with the goals and objectives of the organization without the explicit approval of the Chief Executive Officer.
