The newest in Cascade’s line of clamp force control systems; TFC is the ideal way to improve load handling in warehousing applications. It’s an easy-to-use, intuitive and user- friendly system utilizing touch screen technology to select proper clamp force and reduce product damage. This highly customizable pressure control device is targeted primarily for use with Cascade Carton Clamps but is also suitable for Paper Roll Clamps, Layer Pickers, or any application where regulating clamp force is required. TFC builds on the growing trend of touch-based technology, facilitating smart, direct and easy interaction. According to Cascade Product Manager and TFC concept inventor Brad Vandehey, “Recognizing how touch screen devices have become so ubiquitous, it became apparent that Cascade could utilize this technology to improve load handling processes. We speculated that when drivers are faced with how to properly set the required amount of clamp force, they would be encouraged to interact with an intelligent device rather than 40-year-old mechanical technology.” Using TFC is as simple as visually identifying the load to be handled and selecting the load configuration.
