RAIN – WHAT TO DO It’s raining, it’s Saturday!! Is the game on??
Your manager will know if the game is on, give them a call. Very rarely is a decision made before Friday evening. If I have not contacted your manager, the game is on, even if it is raining!
Most often games will still be on so do not just stay at home, you will be letting your child's team down!!!
It’s raining and it’s training tonight!! Is training on??
Coaches and managers call the wet weather line 9294 8586. If the ground is closed you cannot train, even if it’s not raining!! Parents and players call the manager or coach.
You would think that with all the wet weather everybody would understand the procedure. Clearly not with numerous people letting down their teams/coaches/other parents and the opposition down again on Saturday. I have printed the procedures again in the box above. If you do not get a phone call from the manager telling you the game is off – IT IS ON!! ______
CONGRATULATIONS!!
The under 9s were crowned Knockout champions for 2009 defeating Lidcombe in the final last Saturday.
Our first trophy for 2009!!
Keep up the good work guys!

RESULTS from Saturday 27th June 2009
U6 vs Lidcombe Churches 1 – 3 What an exciting game! With no reserves, everyone gave it their best. Some brilliant defending by our man of the match, Christian. Amazing passing by John Paul and John Luke. Excellent running by Dean and Abrahim and a great goal by Anthony. Regardless of the score, it was an exciting game, everyone played brilliantly. Well done boys! Goal scorer – Anthony Tannous 1
U7 RED vs Wentworthville Uniting 4 – 0 The boys worked with each other and gave it everything. Adem, Mosese, Michael and Aaron were brilliant in defence, letting in no goals. Peter made a few saves but had a rather quite game in goals. Yusuf, Kenneth, Jamal and Yasir played well in attack ensuring a victory. Yusuf received the man of the match award due to his great effort and scoring ability. Overall, it was a brilliant performance. Well done Boys. Goal scorers – Yusuf Jamil 4
U7 WHITE vs OLQP Falcons L 7 – 1 It was bitterly cold this morning and the boys took a little warming up. We were probably lucky to lead 2-1 at the break as the opposition hit the posts twice. We jumped into gear in the second half with Jackson on fire, and Altin played really well pumping the ball forward. Viththegan tackled and chased. Arber was outstanding chasing and collecting a double. Player or the Match - Arber. Goal scorers – Arber Zenelaj 2, Will List 1, Jackson Hunt 1, Milos Mijatovic 1, Tam Do 1, own goal 1
U8 vs OLOR/St Angelas Kellyville W 0 – 8 Great effort from the boys today playing with 7. You can’t beat the top team with 7 and a number of people let their team down badly today. To those who DID put in the effort and got their boys to the game, THANKS!
U9 vs St Bernadettes Castle Hill 4 – 0 Well done boys. The forwards were passing to each and thinking ahead, to assist each other throughout the game. The backs cleared the ball when they had to, halves were always in the mix and clearing the ball up the sides ready for Rusheel to pounce on. Well done everyone. The Men of the Match were Rusheel, Alibaset & Ehren. Goal scorer – Rusheel Raj 3, Alibaset Zafari 1
U9 KNOCKOUT FINAL vs Lidcombe Churches 2 – 0 Congratulations to the whole team. We played a well orchestrated game. We got a little tired at the end but that was after the team played a solid first half carving the opposition up the middle. We had a lot of attempts at goal which just missed and ones that hit the goal posts, but we never gave up the fight and all the boys are to be commended on their effort today. Well done and the years first award for GMUSC. Goal scorers – Rusheel Raj 1, Ronan Galeb 1
U10 vs OLOR/St Angelas Kellyville B 0 - 1 I think this was our best game yet. All the kids tried so hard this week it was a great game to watch.[See what we can do as a team .] So hard this week to pick man of the match but we gave it to our Wesley. He has come so far he was all over that ball today .Wesley turned defence into attack time and time again .Ali also put in 110% this week well done to all the U10s keep up the great work kids .A big thank you to Jacob of the U9s for helping us out today.
U11 vs Bye
U12 vs Parramatta City washout
U13 vs Winston Hills washout
U14 vs St Johns Auburn 0 - 1 With only 9 players, we finally showed that we can player a great game of Soccer. Every player on our team lifted to a level we have not seen this season. It was great to watch, and even our opposition were impressed. We had far more shots at goal and were unfortunate again not to score. Finally St Johns scored with 2 minutes to go, and left us again without a point to reward our effort. You did NOT lose this game. You made friends and fans of everyone who watched. I have never been more proud of the boys than I was today. I know your parents feel the same. It was a tough decision this week, but I feel that both David and Cameron will share Man of the Match acknowledgements this week. Great work guys. I hope all the other boys get better this week. Men of the Match - David and Cameron.
U15 vs Dundas United washout
U16 vs Baulkham Hills Sports 0 – 3 The scoreline flattered our opposition today as we had enough chances to get a better result out of this game than the final score. In the first half we pushed them into mistakes which gave us some golden opportunities that we unfortunately didn't convert. Good games from Mojthaba and Amarvir in central midfield. Ossama, Kyle and Nathan were all desperate in defense and kept them out for most of the game.
RC North FIRSTS vs Penrith Churches 2 - 4 Man of the match Rafael Aleman Goal scorers - Rafael Aleman 2 Guildford McCredie USC (is an activity of McCredie Uniting Church.)
Other activities include Youth Group –10 to 16 yrs (Friday 7pm), Sunday School and Sunday morning worship 10am.
RC 1 RESERVES vs Greystanes Churches 1 – 9 Tough day at the office
RC 1 FIRSTS vs Greystanes Churches 1 – 7 We should go hunting on weekends – we’re good at that.
Premier RESERVES vs Chester Hill Sports 1 – 0 Certainly cut this game fine, scoring late against the lowly placed Chesto. Goal scorers – Lam Nguyen 1
Premier League FIRSTS vs Chester Hill Sports 3 – 0 At half time we were only 1-0 up but created stacks of second half chances and looked particularly good up front. Sherrif scored twice in his Premier League debut and Phil Chan, Lam and Tom, all usually reserve graders, played well. Goal scorers – Sherrif Bah 2, Pece Kotevski 1

U11 vs Baulkham Hills Sports washout
U13 vs Toongabbie 0 – 2 Today with only SEVEN players, the boys played a magnificent game of one touch passing to keep attacking and defending Toongabbie's 11 and TWO reserves. The SEVEN are this weeks MVP's with at least 4 having been injured and still playing so the game would not be forfeited. Ahmad, even though injured, defended our back line against 3 -4 Toongabbie players, whilst Milad and Jordan ran down the opposition. Wasim, even after getting mud in his eyes, in attack and defence played an outstanding game. Hassan also showed how well he could play surrounded constantly by at least 2 to 3 Toongabbie players, he outskilled the opposition to pass the ball to a team mate, even after being kicked in the shins several times. Jeremy worked on controlling the middle of the field and averted several of Toongabbie's attempts to dive the ball down the middle and Jesse in goal defended skilfully with his fellow team mates. A number of our players were ill but we were disappointed that some team players failed to phone the Manager or Coach the night before so replacement players could be found to field a full team. If you can't play, you MUST let us know, or you let the team down. Those that did play today showed a great passion for the game and great team spirit. Well done boys!
U15 vs Lidcombe Waratah 6 – 2 Grateful to have the 11 players there considering opposition only had 10. Due to field conditions the extra player wasn’t as much as an advantage as we probably hoped – slipping in the mud, miss-kicks and missed balls combined with us hits the posts a number of times meant this had the potential to go either way. Disciplined effort by all. Thanks to Seiki and Trung for filling in as keeper. Man of the match was Mushtaba with some solid tackling in midfield with a special mention to Eloy for his great work as always as our last man. Goal scorers – Mohammed Rahimi 2, Antony Vojvoda 2, Nicholas Stamos 2
