Please remember to suggest that they find the Catholic Newman Center quickly before they start other routines. The Newman Center (or Catholic Center at some universities ) is a place to meet students with similar values as your students. Especially if hey are A Well-Formed Conscience attending a state university, it is a place to get help if a professor begins to attack their Catholic faith. As The Church equips its members to address political and social a former Newman Center Director I can attest to questions by helping them to develop a well-formed conscience. this sad situation. As stated in the Catechism of the Yours in Christ, Catholic Church, “Conscience is a judgement of reason whereby the human person recognizes the moral quality of a concrete act Fr. Mike that he is going to perform, is in the process of performing, or has already completed. In all he says and does, man is obliged to follow faithfully what he knows to be just and right”.
