Greetings! My online sections of GEOG 171 require WileyPLUS, an online resource provided by the textbook publisher. This document, prepared by the publisher, provides the information you need to access course materials.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I will be holding optional orientation sessions on campus during the first week of class. You may purchase the book online or in the book store any time before class starts.

WileyPLUS is an online learning platform that allows you to:

 Read, Study, & Practice by accessing the complete online version of your text and other study tools.  Take Assignments that provide instant feedback and context-specific help.  Access the Gradebook to track your progress and grades on routine assignments. You will need a registration code to access WileyPLUS. It’s your choice to buy it with or without the printed text:  Buy the new, printed text in the bookstore and a WileyPLUS registration code will be included.  If you prefer to use the online version of your text in WileyPLUS go to: www.wileyplus.com/buy and save 60% off the price of the print text! The main text in this course is Geography: Realms, Regions and Concepts, 13 th Edition, by Harm de Blij. The Spring 2009 offering of the course also requires any edition of Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. To get started, please use your WileyPLUS registration code to register. You will do this by going to the Class Section URL listed below - make sure you register in the correct section!

From here you can also access other helpful resources such as the 1st Day of Class and Technical Support websites. In addition to WileyPLUS, we will use Moodle for other aspects of the course:
