BGCC BENEFITS VACATION  Less than 1 Year – Eligible to accrue up to 10 Days of Vacation per Calendar Year  1 Year but Less than 3 Years of Service – 12 Days of Vacation per Calendar Year  3 Years or More but Less that 7 Years of Service – 17 Days of Vacation per Calendar Year  7 or More Years of Service – 22 Days of Vacation per Calendar Year  Accrual Begins the First Pay Period after Employment

HOLIDAYS  10 Paid Holidays per Year

SICK LEAVE  10 Paid Days of Sick Leave per Calendar Year (they are calculated on an accrual basis)  Accrual Begins the First Pay Period after Employment

HEALTH INSURANCE  Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO Blue Advantage, HMO Illinois or PPO  Effective the First Day of the Month Following Employment  BGCC Pays 70% of the Premium, Employee Pays 30% of the Premium

DENTAL INSURANCE  Delta Dental Plan of Illinois  Two Options – Delta Choice (PPO) or Delta Care (HMO)  Effective the First Day of the Month Following Employment  BGCC pays 50% of the Premium, Employee Pays 50% of the Premium

LIFE INSURANCE  Effective the First Day of the Month Following Employment  Benefit is Two (2) Times Annual Salary ($250,000 Benefit Cap)  BGCC pays 100% of the Premium

RETIREMENT PLAN  Retirement Plan under Fidelity Investments  Employees can voluntarily participate in the 403B from the first pay period  The annual employer 401A contribution for eligible participants is 5% of the annual income

SHORT TERM DISABILITY  BGCC pays 100% of the Premium  BGCC pays 60% of an employee’s salary while on leave approved by the insurance company up to 5 ½ months

LONG TERM DISABILITY  BGCC pays 100% of the Premium

DIRECT DEPOSIT  The payroll department can arrange for up to 3 account transactions i.e., Savings, Checking, Credit Union, Money Market Account, or Loan Payment at a financial institution.

PAYROLL DEDUCTION FOR COMMUTER FARE

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM  Paid for by BGCC and available to all employees and to anyone living in an employee’s household.

FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNT  Tax deductible benefit for healthcare and/or dependent care.
