We are offering over 800 lots of U.S. and Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily & Security Printing Ephemera at our offices in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The auction begins with over 160 lots of worldwide banknotes and will be followed by 30 additional lots of U.S. banknotes and Security Printing Ephemera including a interesting assortment of U.S. Obsoletes from an old collection that has been off of the market for close to 30 years. Additionally we are offering further selections from the “Hamtramck Collection”, put together by a career military officer over a 50 year period beginning in the late 1940’s. There are close to 600 lots of scripophily including banking, finance, navigation and railroads including the first part of an amazing Texas, Mexico and related area railroad stock and bond collection that comes from a serious Texas collectors holding with many rarities and desirable items that rarely if ever come to auction. Additionally, we will be offering a discovery “Santa Claus” specimen stock certificate that is new to the market as well as hundreds of rare and de- sirable stocks and bonds. We are looking forward to another exciting auction and hope you enjoy our current offerings. We will be holding a Chinese and Asian Banknote and scripophily auction on May 23rd in Hong Kong, our fifth venture there, which will feature the Alexander E. Pogrebetsky Family Archives Collection of rare Chinese banknotes. We will also be holding a very interesting and exciting auction of the Rudolph P. Laubenheimer Family Archives the last week of June. Laubenheimer was a noted Engraver, Die Sinker and Medailleur who designed and engraved numerous medals including examples for the 1876 U.S. Centennial and the 1892 Columbian Exposition. He was also noted for engraving and designing the entire series of the 1870 U.S. Postal Stationary envelopes which he received a Post Office commendation. We will be holding a coin and banknote auction in July and we are also the official auctioneers for the 5th Annual Wall Street Coin, Currency, Scripophily and Collectibles show to be held in mid October at the Museum of American Finance located on Wall Street in the old Bank of New York building. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in our previous auctions and has helped make this auction series a resounding success. Best of luck, Bob Schwartz Bid Sheet_Layout 1 4/1/15 7:20 PM Page 1 Table of Cont_Layout 1 4/2/15 4:45 PM Page 1 Table of Contents Thursday, May 7th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
