Cable Lookup Application - The applications url is enet.equitrac.com/cables

The Cable Lookup application is an internal tool that will allow users to view recommended cables for a particular copier model and will allow administrative users to maintain a centralized cable reference. They will also be allowed to control the visibility of the cable information in the Cable Lookup Application and our external Cable Extranet. (Web site where customers will be able to purchase cables via the web)

Search

The Search menu option, allows you to search for a particular Copier Manufacture and Copier Model to get your Oracle orderable Part number.

By using the drop down list you select a Copier Manufacture. Once you have selected the manufacture - you can select a copier model number.

Once you have selected both the Copier Manufacture and the Model Number, you will be displayed Oracle’s orderable part number and any additional comments if any. Model Listing

The Model Listing menu option, allows you to view a complete list of the Model Numbers for a particular Copier Manufacture.

For example: I’ve selected the Copier Manufacture “DANKA” in the detail list you are able to view all of Model Numbers for the selected the Copier Manufacture. Note: Authorized users only

Authorized users will have the capability to click on the model’s hyperlink to view more detail information, make modifications and add a new model number by clicking on the Add New Model option.

Click on the models hyperlink, you will get this window below where you can view or update any information on that model number. Click the Save button when you have completed your work. Click on the Back button on the browser to return to the previous screen. Click on the Reset button to clear the unsaved changes.

By clicking on the Add New Model option, you will get this window shown below. Here you can add your new model number along with any additional comments. Click the Save button when you have completed your work. Click on the Back button on the browser to return to the previous screen. Click on the Reset button to clear the unsaved changes. Field definitions

Active- this field controls the visibility of the model on the Search and Model Listing view for normal users.

Copier Manufacture – this field will display the name of the copier manufacture.

Model – A unique copier model number.

Standard Cable and Part # – will display the copier’s part number and description within Oracle.

Extended Attr. Cable – displays the cable that should be used for terminals with standard connections.

Recommended Cable and Part # – displays the cable that should be used for terminals that support the external attribute cable. These will display under the Search, Model Listing options and the Cable Extranet web site.

Help URL - url for extended help if needed.

Comments – this comment is internal and will display in the Search and Model Listing menu option.

Advisors – this comment is internal and will display in the Search and Model Listing menu option in red.

Web Orderable – this field will control the visibility of the model on the new Cable Extranet.

Web Comments – this comment will display in the Search, Model Listing menu option and it will also display on the new Cable Extranet.
