Sebastian Thrun As Assessment is integral to teaching and learning, we would like to inform that we will be conducting assessments from 3rd July 2017 from IK 3 to class 5. The dates for assessment of various subjects are mentioned below. 3rd July 2017 UOI ( Formative Assessment ) 4th July 2017 Mathematics 5th July 2017 English 6th July 2017 II and III Language 7th July 2017 UOI ( Summative Assessment ) Kindly note the topics for assessment. Subject Topic UOI Adaptations of plants and animals and requirements of plants and animals to grow or survive in future because of environmental changes brought by humans. Refer Eureka plus- lesson 4 and 5 Mathematics Number System (place values up to 9 digit numbers, comparing of numbers, numeration, expanded form, short form, Ascending & Descending order, missing numbers, complete the series of numbers, rounding of numbers to the nearest 10’s, 100’s and 1000’s, addition of large numbers, estimating the sum ) Refer Number Magic book Pg- 5 to pg- 31 English Kinds of nouns( Proper, common, abstract, collective and possessive nouns); use of can and will viewing and presenting (Story telling) Reading (reading a lesson from maple tree book)and Writing (comprehension, Sequencing the pictures and writing) Refer Maple tree – Unit 2 and Unit- 4, Cambridge School Grammar Pg 1 to 16 II Language Hindi Varnamala, swar ki matray, Lesson 4- bheej, Ginathi-1 to 10, Grammar-sanya (noun).
