Did you know that the Lamar Athletic Booster Club provides financial support to many Activities and Departments at Lamar – not just sports? Lamar Athletic Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and your membership & contributions make it possible for teachers, sponsors and coaches to quickly access funding, and to provide items for their students that might not otherwise be obtainable through HISD. You can designate how your contribution should be used. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Your membership contributions help fund anything from transportation to equipment for our athletic teams including Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Diving, Drill Team, Football, Lacrosse, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Water Polo, and Wrestling.

In the past we have helped purchase Art Talk Textbooks, Auto Lock Table Easels, Sheet Music, Uniforms for Orchestra or Color Guard, Wireless Microphones for the Theater and other requested items for the Art, Band, Band Color Guard, Choir, Dance, Orchestra and Theater departments.

The Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the Horticultural Department use funds for the annual Livestock Show in the month of April.
