Personal Care Attendant must be able to perform the essential physical task of lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents. Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly during shift.

Job Description: Geriatric  Assists residents to walk with or without self-help Nursing devices.  Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse Assistant and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and (GNA) output, weights and other data as directed.  Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointment, activity and social programs.  Assists in daily dressing/undressing, bathing and bowl/bladder functions.  Serves food in the dining room in a way that promotes a pleasant and dignified environment.  Functions as a team player.  Performs other duties, as assigned.

Requirements: * One year experience as a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant preferred * Must have valid State of Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification * Evening, weekend, and rotating holiday shifts are required
