What is a Music with Mar. Listening Party?

It is a great opportunity to hear the quality music and music related products that are offered through the Music with Mar. (MwM) program. The philosophy of Music with Mar. is to involve the children and engage the parents and teachers in music activities that are developmentally appropriate and enjoyable. Children who get involved in well thought out music programs focused around play in the early years, develop the strongest foundation for future educational growth.

What happens at a Music with Mar. Listening Party?

 A MwM Instructor will demonstrate the music and how it is used.  The many music-related products available through MwM will also be demonstrated.  The developmentally appropriate activities that go with the music will be explained.  A MwM Instructor will demonstrate how you can enhance your children’s and/or students’ learning skills through music and movement.

How will I benefit from attending a Music with Mar. Listening Party?

 You will be gaining knowledge about the value of the Music with Mar. program and what it can offer you and your children and/or students.  You will have the opportunity to purchase great children’s music and music-related products that have been developed based on sound brain research.  You will have the opportunity to book your own Listening Party.

How do I go about booking one ?

 Talk to your local, licensed Music with Mar. Instructor and pick a date.  Invite 10-15 friends to come to your home. Generally, one-third of the people you invite will come. Your Instructor can help with the invitations.  Decide if you’d like children to be a part of your party.

What happens at a Music with Mar. Listening Party?

 Your Music with Mar. Instructor will demonstrate the music and how it is used.  The many music-related products available through MwM will also be demonstrated.  The developmentally appropriate activities that go with the music will be explained.  Your MwM Instructor will demonstrate how you can enhance your children’s and/or students’ learning skills through music and movement.  Orders will be taken and paid for at the party. Delivery of products will come directly to you, usually within 7-10 days.

How will I benefit from hosting a Music with Mar. Listening Party?

 You will be sharing your knowledge of and belief in the value of the Music with Mar. program with friends and co-workers.  You will receive a FREE CD of your choice.  You will receive HOSTESS CREDIT for your own order determined by the total sales at your party.  If anyone at your party books their own Listening Party, you will receive an EXTRA $10 CREDIT to be used to that person’s party.

What is a listening party? It is when people are invited to come and hear the quality music and music related products we offer through the MwM ™ program at a private home, much like other product parties. These parties will:

1. Generate more income through sales; 2. Familiarize new people with the program; and 3. Let those already familiar with program benefit by sharing

How does one occur? 1. A person asks to host a listening party; 2. They invite between 10 – 15 friends to come to their home. Generally, one-third of the people you invite will come; 3. A MwM Instructor demonstrates the music and how it is used (people may bring their children; this is optional); and 4. The person hosting receives one FREE CD for hosting plus a dollar amount to spend on product based on sales at party (explained below).

MwM Instructors may have product available at party for instant delivery or orders can be taken. All orders must be paid for at time of order. Product is delivered to the host of the party and host is responsible for getting the product to the person who ordered it.

Instructors figure out sales after party and inform host of how much the sales equaled. At this point, host can choose the product they would like to receive.

Sales Rewards

One FREE CD for hosting. You may choose to offer a 5 Class Card as an incentive. (Suggestion: Anyone purchasing over $150 of product, gets a 5 Class Card.) This may not be appealing to someone who doesn’t attend, so it can be a choice between that and something else. Please be creative as we ‘create’ this.

The benefit to the host will be that the host receives Center Pricing and the Instructor makes the difference between Center Pricing and Instructor Pricing. (Instructor will also have these sales count towards her monthly totals which incur a sales reward.)

If someone at party books another party, host will receive $10 towards next purchase at time of the next party.
