Rev 4/28/2018 On Tuesday, April 5, 2011 the Spanish Club students will be taking a field trip to Milwaukee.

We will leave school at 9:10 (during 2nd hour) and travel to the Milwaukee Public Library for a Latin American Dance presentation.

Then, we will travel to Botanas for a Mexican lunch. Once there, the students will be able to choose their lunch from a buffet line. Included in the lunch will be chips, salsa, chicken chimichangas, cheese enchiladas, beef burritos, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and drinks.

After lunch we will travel to the supermarket EL REY. The students will have about 30 minutes to walk through the store and experience a Mexican supermarket. They are also welcome to make purchases if they’d like. (You may even want to send a little grocery list with them if you like to cook with/eat items that we can’t find at our local supermarkets.)

We will return to school sometime during 7th hour.

The total per-student cost of the trip which includes the bus, lunch, and the music presentation is $26.00 .

*This is a great cultural experience for students of any level of Spanish.

The trip is limited to 45 Spanish Club students. The only fair way I know to do this is tell all students about the trip and then take the first 45 students who return this permission slip with the money in room A-29, starting at 7:10 am on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 . I realize that we are signing the students up early, but I need to send in a down payment for both the restaurant and the concert group.
