Assessments: Students will be assessed in a variety of ways for each unit. This unit will again focus on the completion of a vocabulary and articulation worksheet, and a singing test. Students will also once again sight-read the same pre-selected piece for the director they did at the start of the year to track their improvement. This will be graded but again, not factor into their grade for the nine weeks. As it did in the previous units, students’ daily progress and participation during rehearsal will be a portion of their grade. We will complete the unit with a Post-Test and the annual Dinner Theatre (graded). As always, students will receive a grade for their Pre-Test, but it will not be included in the course grade.
