Judith Burton has been selected by the National Art Education Association to receive the Eisner Lifetime Achievement Award.

Michelle Knight has been selected as a Senior Research Fellow for the Massachusetts Institute for College and Career Readiness (MICCR).

Ernest Morrell received the 2014 "Outstanding Academic Title" award by Choice Magazine, a publication of the American Library Association for his book Critical Media Pedagogy. Faculty Publications of Books and Refereed Journal Articles:
