We would like to invite you to vie for the coveted title of Junior Queen Mallard XXIV (24) at 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014. We want this to be a day and evening filled with fun and fellowship. There are hundreds of dollars in cash and prizes awarded to the winners and their courts.

Rules:  Entry fee for Junior Queen Mallard is $55 for beauty and $15 for photogenic. Deadline is Friday November 7, 2014. Any entries after this date will include a $15 late registration penalty and will not be listed in the program book or be pictured in the newspaper.

 Junior Queen Mallard contestants will compete in party dresses and photogenic (optional). Stiletto heels or shoes with a platform are not allowed. There will also be an award given for Miss Congeniality and Crowd Favorite. The newly crowned winner will be required to attend activities scheduled by the Queen Mallard Committee at the Wings Over the Prairie Festival and at events scheduled throughout her reign.

 For the opening number Junior Queen Mallard will be provided a festival t-shirt and must incorporate an outfit that reflects their own personal style. You will have plenty of time to change after the opening number. Remember that we would like our Junior Queen Mallard to look her age. Festival shirts can be picked up when your application is submitted.  Contestant must be between the ages of 12 and 15 the day of the pageant and must reside in the counties of Arkansas, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Grant and Jefferson.

 Rehearsal for the pageant will held at 9am on November 22, 2014 at the Grand Prairie Center. If you do not attend rehearsal, you will be disqualified from the competition that night and no refund will be given. Photogenic pictures must be submitted the morning of rehearsal.

 Contestants selected for the Top 10 will be required to answer an on stage question based on their bio sheets.

All contestants will receive 2 tickets for the event. Advance tickets will go on sale November 1, 2014.

Ads for the program can be purchased this year. The ad order form and information is attached.
