Day 1 Airport – Polonnaruwa (approx: time 5 Hours 30 Mins) Overnight stay at Echo Lake House, Polonnaruwa
Welcome & assist by Helanka Vacations, and proceed to Polonnaruwa.
Visit Sightseeing in Polonnaruwa with visits to the largest man-made reservoir, the “Parakrama Samudraya” (the sea of Parakrama) built during King Parakrama’s reign. Also see the ruins of Shiva Devales and Hindu style decor which show the influence of Hindu culture on Sinhala Buddhist culture. The “Gal Vihara Complex” with its imposing Buddha sculptures in granite which is one of the most evocative pieces of sculpture in the world can be seen. Unique style of brick work architecture can also be seen at Lankathilaka Viharaya. The other interesting places are the ruins of the King’s Council Chamber, the Royal Pavilion, Kirivehera and the Gal Viaharaya. All these places show the height of stone craft and artistry of this period.

Day 2 Polonnaruwa – Pasikudah (approx: time 1 Hour 15 Mins) Overnight Stay at Anilana Pasikudah
After breakfast proceed to Pasikudah.
Pasikudah has a beautiful curved bay with extremely shallow water. Pasikudah is known to have one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world. It is possible for people walk at least half a kilometer into the sea at certain points because the water is only a few inches deep and the current is relatively weak compared to the rest of Sri Lanka's coastline. Pasikudah Bay is a 2km long wide stretch of beach well protected by a shallow off shore reef. Kalkudah beach is wide and long and spreads along for 4km long just south of Pasikudah. The beach also houses a varied number of tropical fishes and exotic coral reefs. The combined beaches of Pasikudah and Kalkudah and are ideal for sea bathing

After Breakfast Proceed to Sigiriya.
Climb the 180-meter rock which was a royal citadel for nearly 20 years. This great exiting site is nearly one hectare in extent. The rock fortress was built by King Kashyapa who killed his father to gain his wealth. This wonderful fortress is a masterpiece of artistry. Sigiriya has been made famous throughout the world for the frescoes on its rock wall and advanced water system. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 9 Sigiriya – Colombo (approx: time 4 Hours 15 Mins) Overnight Stay at Hilton, Colombo
After breakfast transfer to Colombo and do the city tour and shopping at Colombo. A drive through the city will take you to Fort and Pettah – the commercial area of the city and tree- lined Colombo 7 – Cinnamon Gardens. Colombo 3, 4, 5 & 8 are the prime residential areas of the City. The Hindu Temple at Sea Street – lined with goldsmith shops, the Dutch Church at Wolfendhal dating back to 1749, the historic Devatagaha Mosque, Independence Square, BMICH, Gangaramaya Temple and Colombo Museum are some of the attractions in Colombo.Proceed with a shopping tour at Odel, Laksala Crafts center, Barefoot. Sri Lanka is renowned for ‘Ceylon Tea’, ‘Ceylon Cinnamon’, spices, precious and semi-precious gems and jewelry in Silver, gold and white gold.
