SHAPIRO SHER NAMES NEW PARTNER: JOSEPH A. PULVER

Baltimore, MD, February 24, 2016 – Banking attorney Joseph A. Pulver has been named partner at Shapiro Sher in Baltimore. Previously an associate, he has played a critical role in the growth of the firm’s Banking & Financial Services practice, which represents financial institutions throughout the Mid Atlantic.

Mr. Pulver primarily counsels lenders in commercial loan workouts and restructuring. He also represents clients in state and federal courts on a variety of other business and bankruptcy issues, including borrower fraud, fraudulent transfers, title claims, lender-liability defense, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, he has advised lenders, developers, and business owners on C&I and real-estate-financing transactions.

Mr. Pulver simultaneously earned his MBA and JD (magna cum laude) from the University of Baltimore. He is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and a past Fellow of its Leadership Academy. He is also active with the Bar Association of Baltimore City and served as President of its Young Lawyers Roundtable, 2013-2014.
