QUESTIONS WE HAVE BEEN ASKED

Which is your best selling model in the Predator range and why?

1 Our best selling models in the Predator range of vacuum systems are both the Predator Lynx and the Predator New Cub. The Predator Lynx is mainly used by horse owners with 8+ horses. The Predator New Cub is used by horse/camelid owners up to 8 horses and 20 camelids.

What are the advantages with the vacuum based product as opposed to the small paddock sweeper?

2 Vacuum systems are the only way to pick up all droppings in paddocks. This can best be demonstrated by using a brush to clear a household carpet and a vacuum cleaner. The brush always leaves dust behind and the vacuum cleaner picks everything up. This is even more so in paddocks when droppings are in long grass, corners where brushes cannot reach (just where the horse loves to deposit their droppings) and undulating ground. There is always an argument that brushes are quicker, you just drive up and down dragging the brush behind you. But you have to do this over the entire paddock, with the vacuum system you only have to do the areas where the droppings are. With the Predator machines you can operate the hose from the sitting position or get off the towing machine and work 4m around the machine picking up droppings. It is quick and very thorough. Our gantry makes the whole job easy and keeps the hose light to use. Have you every tried to use a machine without a gantry, the droppings in the hose get very heavy and back-breaking. Always remember the vacuum system can be used in stables and yards to collect droppings, hay, straw, even clean out those blocked drains and water troughs.

What makes the Predator different and how is it positioned in the market price wise?

3 The Predator machines have been in the market place for over 10 years now. We have made innovative design changes, always improving on the previous models and now are proud to have the most effective vacuum system on the market. Both the hoppers of the Predator Lynx and Predator New Cub are made of polyethylene which is much lighter in weight and non corrosive. The Predator Lynx has hydraulic tipping, invaluable when picking up lots of droppings and with just the press of a button the hopper tips vertically, emptying the contents, mulched on to your heap. The Predator New Cub is very easy to tip manually, just undo the clip and push the hopper forward for the mulched droppings to empty. All our models have Briggs & Stratton engines. The Predator Lynx has a 13.5hp engine and New Cub a 9.5hp engine. These are extremely powerful and make the vacuum power unbelievable. We are in the middle of the road market price wise, but just look at the quality and power and decide for yourself – in the summer anything will pick the droppings up but in the winter you need power.

How does the Company manage its after-sales support?

4 The Predator People are very proud of our after-sales performance. We have many customers who tell us that this is second to none. The Predator machines are supported by us and the engines by the world-wide agents of Briggs and Stratton. All the machines and engines have a 2 year warranty. Spare parts are always available from us for all our machines, even the ones that are 10 years old and we also supply Briggs & Stratton parts for the engines. Normally spare parts are sent out the same day.
