Job Title : DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR FOR TEA TIME (p/t) Job Reference : C148/0614
Grade : NJC Scale 1, Spinal Points 6 – 9 Salary : £12,614.00 - £13,725.00 (pro rata: £855.00 - £930.00) Location : New College Worcester Report to : Head of Care / Assistant Principal: Pastoral Hours : 17:45 – 18:45, Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays. (Term Time only)
Purpose of Job:
To support and contribute towards the smooth, efficient and safe running of the school by providing supervision for all students on the school premises during the tea time period.

C148/0614 JD: Dining Room Supervisor (Tea Times) Page 1 of 2 Key Tasks and Activities: Supervision of all students on school premises (Dining Block) before, during and after they have eaten lunch. Ensure the health and safety of all students in accordance with the schools policies and procedures. Organise and supervise appropriate activities for students as agreed with your Line Manager. Report any incidents of concern to member of Care Staff or your Line Manager. Maintain a record of injuries. Attend courses/training sessions in order to support individual professional development and the development of the school.
Key Skills and Competencies: Confidence in dealing with young people, maintaining discipline and motivation. Ability to relate well to both students and adults. Work constructively as part of a team. Experience of working with or caring for students of relevant age.
