I would for sure support the DeStaCo′s point. It would strengthen my position. I still stick to my generic Clamps that are independent from the supplier. DeStaCo now tries to get released as 3rd source for those.

Taylor Heavy Duty – Drop Away Leaf Assembly: Delayed from last meeting, but information from previous reports/agendas shall remain below in blue text for reference purposes. Ken Taylor presented a preliminary model of the next version for inclusion to Section N. The following characteristics were noted during the discussion:  Bore sizes shall be 125 and 160MM  Width of assembly is approximately 18”, but the final dimension is to be determined based upon further discussion.  Mounting can be accomplished from any side of the unit. 8. 9. N TBD Team  Chamfer corners of assembly side plates to reduce weight and for packaging purposes.  Many core sub-components are made from the same metal thickness, to allow grinding all items at once.  Load weight restrictions for moving objects to be determined at a later date.  Ken Taylor has CATIA files of the assembly, and will provide them to anyone who requests them  K. Taylor will also design preliminary pedestal risers to review with team at the next meeting. An interactive PDF file shall accompany the report as an attachment.
