2. Minutes of the last meeting The minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 21st September were accepted as a correct record.

3. Matters arising from the minutes No matters arising.

4. Reports from Liaison Tutors Dorset Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Harry reported an ongoing organisational change within the Trust. Community LD post vacant Band 7 full-time. Trust will only be able to provide 2 LD placements next year.

Dorset PCT Peter Daw has retired – Julia Deadman-Spall and Peter Thorne have jointly taken on the Head of Service role.

West Dorset – Children’s Foundation Trust Children’s services to be merged with Dorset Healthcare Trust on 1st April.

Somerset Partnership Trust Band 8A – Forensic team recently appointed There are lots of changes taking place in the Children’s services at the present time.

5. Reports from Trainees 1st Year group – there were concerns about changes to the structure of placement days not mapping in so well with supervisors who work part-time

2nd Year group – the group feel they have had very good quality supervision on their clinical placements with lots of opportunities for interesting clinical work.

3RD Year group – The group are finding split placements difficult to manage – preference to do one placement in the final year. They have had very good supervision overall.

6. Programme Update Trainee cohorts: 20 – 09-12 group 13 – 08-11 group 15 – 07-10 group

There will be 26 trainees in 10-13 group including 12 commissions in the north.

In 2011 the Bath programme will take over northern commissions.

Mark and Kelly are leaving the programme and Louise is on maternity leave. Locum Clinical tutors in post to cover.

HPC/BPS accreditation visit – 2/3 June

7. Selection 2010 12/13/14/15 April interviewing 64 candidates for 26 places.
