Students are expected to include proper usage of terms relative to the visual elements and principles of design. Through the writing process, they will analyze and discuss the artist’s cultural and historical backgrounds and draw conclusions as to their influence. In addition, they will consider any perceived similarities and reflect on what they think the artist was trying to communicate. After completing their paper, they will submit in Blackboard through the designated Shared Assignment aligned with the prescribed General Education Outcomes.
