MCYO LEAGUE RULES:

1. Home team is listed on the left side of the schedule and will supply (2) new game balls, bases with (2) spikes and is the official scorebook. All Teams Should Have Bases and a Home Plate.

2. Dates, sites or game times cannot be changed except through the MCYO and only in cases where there is a school/parish conflict (or inclimate weather). Make up games are to be played within (7) days of scheduled date at any available site.

3. In the event an umpire fails to show for a scheduled game, coaches are to select an umpire. The game must be played.

4. Only tied or interrupted games that have a direct bearing on the standings will be rescheduled.

5. In case of questionable weather in any part of the metro area, coaches are to contact the MCYO office or check the web site to make sure the games are on. Decisions will be made before 1:30 pm on weekdays, 8:00 am on Saturdays and 11:30 am for weekend afternoon games.

6. Games will be (6) innings in length. The ten run rule is in effect at the end of (4) innings or when the trailing team has completed (4) turns at bat.

7. Field permits, school graduation dates, class picnic or plays must be known in advance of scheduling.

8. Winning coaches should call in the games scores: 612-522-7894.

9. Mandatory safety double-base for first base at the cub baseball and softball levels.

10. All Player eligibility issues and roster additions must be handled and cleared through the MCYO Office.

11. As always, all rosters must be signed by both the Coach and the school Principal or Pastor.

12. Playoffs and Tournaments will follow the regular season schedule.
