Faculty Meeting – Just a reminder, we have a Faculty Meeting this Monday, June 5 in the library starting @ 7:30 am. We will be honoring and celebrating our Esperanza retirees, but we would also like to thank all those who are moving to other schools.

Senior Awards 2017, This Monday evening, June 5th – 6:30pm at El Dorado High School (PAC) – We will recognized over 100 seniors for their scholarships, department awards and academic success. This is always a terrific night to see all the time and hard work our students have devoted to core classes, along with co-curricular activities, electives and clubs. Each department will recognize their top students, along with selecting the best of the best. I hop to see you at the EDHS.

Congratulations to Kezie Okpala who was recognized by the Crestview League as the Men's Athlete of the year for 2016-2017. Kezie was given his award at the Orange County Athletic Directors Association dinner on Tuesday night. Kezie was an instrumental part of the Esperanza Men's Basketball teams success in winning the State Div. II Championship.

1 Grade Sheets for seniors – are due to Caroline by 3:00pm on Friday June 9th. This timeline is set to provide us time to pull caps and gowns, along with final communication with parents and students regarding graduation and senior activities. Even if all of you students are passing your class, turn in your “Senior Grade Sheets: with “everyone is passing” written on the form.

End of Year Staff Club Lunch – Don’t forget our End-of School year Lunch which will be Wednesday, June 14th after finals in the lunch area.

Wednesday: Link Crew Root beer float study session

Orchestra concert 7pm PAC

Thursday: Drama production in theater 6pm
