Begin with one front piece. Cast on 10 sts with 2 ½ mm knitting needles. Row 1: Knit stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles. Row 2: Purl stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles.
Rows 3 - 6: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), the 2 edge sts towards the front edge, work garter stitch with 3 ½ mm knitting needles.
Row 7: Knit stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles. Row 8: Purl stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles.
Rows 9 - 12: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), with 3 ½ mm knitting needles.
Row 13: Knit stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles. Cast on 6 new sts for sleeve.
Work the 3 edge sts of sleeve in garter stitch.
Row 14: Purl stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles.
Rows 15 - 16: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), with 3 ½ mm knitting needles.
Row 17: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), with 3 ½ mm knitting needles.
Decrease, at the same time, 1 st, inside edge st, front, every other row, 4 times.
Row 18: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), with 3 ½ mm knitting needles. Row 19: Knit stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles.
Row 20: Purl stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles.
Rows 21 - 24: Rib stitch (K 1, P 1), with 3 ½ mm knitting needles.
Place the work aside and work the front part, but in the opposite direction.
Work both pieces together like this: Row 25: Knit stitch with 2 ½ mm knitting needles. Cast on, at the same time, 8 sts between pieces.

Cast off, at the same time, 6 sts, for each sleeve.
