Goldstein.  Social skills curriculum designed to teach children 1) Beginning social skills (e.g., listening, using nice talk); 2) School related skills (e.g., asking a question, following directions); 3) Friendship-making skills (e.g., greeting others, waiting your turn); 4) Dealing with feelings (e.g., feeling left out, dealing with fear); 5) Alternatives to aggression (e.g., dealing with teasing, solving a problem); 6) Dealing with stress (e.g., relaxing, being honest).

7. Describe how each of your variables will be measured. . Popularity  Each student in the class will receive roster with all the names of their classmates on it. Students will be asked to put a check mark next to the names of the students that most other students like to hang out with.  Each student will rate, on a 5-point Likert-type scale, how much other students like to hang out with them ( 1 = not so much, 5 = very much)
