Country Research Project “A Focus on Culture” Definition of Culture: We all belong to a culture. One definition of culture is the combination of human knowledge, beliefs and behavior that we learn and pass on to future generations. We usually express our culture in certain ways, like how we dress, what we eat, what we believe, and how we play.

Categories: * Landmark – at least 2 unique, famous landmarks o Name, location o Description o Reason for fame, why important?

* Food – at least 2 unique, traditional dishes o Type of food (entrée, snack, dessert, etc.) o Most important Ingredient/s o When is it eaten (Special occasion? Breakfast? Snack? Dinner?) o Background information – history, facts

* Entertainment– at least two unique types o Describe what it is – Game? Hobby? Craft? o How do you play, make, or do it? o Who does it?

* Celebration – at least two of the most important and unique celebrations o Name o When and where is it celebrated? o Reason for celebration Name ______Date ______
