New 18-volt Cordless Power Tools with Increased Battery Life and Advanced Ergonomics Outlined in Latest Metabo Product Catalog

WEST CHESTER, Pa. March 2009 – Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers its updated 2009/2010 product catalog.

Metabo’s newest 18-volt, lithium-ion cordless power tools, including drill/drivers, hammer drills, rotary hammers, a circular and reciprocating saw, an impact driver and impact wrench as well as the popular PowerGrip II, are featured in the catalog. These lightweight, rugged tools feature longer battery life via advanced cell protection and innovative cooling technologies during charging. Metabo’s well-known ergonomic designs are also central to the new cordless tools to ensure user safety and reduce fatigue during operation.
