CONSIDERATION OF AN EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE FOR AN “AUTOMOTIVE DEALER-USED CARS” IN THE “B-1” GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT FOR A PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 5790 PARK BOULEVARD . ( CU 2011-08 Joseph and Jennifer Virden)

PUBLIC HEARING (QUASI-JUDICIAL)

NOTE: The applicant is requesting consideration of an expansion of an existing Conditional Use for an established “Automobile Dealer – Used Cars” in the “B-1” General Commercial Zoning District, on a 1.205 acre parcel of land generally located at 5790 Park Boulevard. The property is currently developed with a towing service, impound yard, car sales and major automotive repair. Subject to any matters that may be discussed at this hearing, staff has not identified any inconsistencies with the Comprehensive Plan. The proposal should have no adverse effect on adopted levels of service for City infrastructure. parking lot.; to the south and west, CSX Railroad, Benders and Cash Savers Insurance; and to the east, Living Color Tropical Fish, A & B Refining, Inc. and unoccupied commercial property. At its meeting on March 3, 2011, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the above request.

ACTION: (Approve – Deny) a Conditional Use request to expand an existing “Automobile Dealer-Used Cars” in the “B-1” General Commercial Zoning District based on the staff report and the criteria found in Section 18-1531.6 and Section 18-1531.10. (reference – staff report, excerpts of P & Z minutes of March 3, 2011, application, site map, site plan)

Community Redevelopment Annual Report

AUTHORIZATION TO FILE WITH THE CITY OF PINELLAS PARK THE 2009/2010 PINELLAS PARK COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ANNUAL REPORT

NOTE: Florida Statutes requires the Redevelopment Agency to file an annual report of the activities of the Redevelopment District with the City. ACTION: (Approve - Deny) Authorization for the Chairperson to file the annual report with the City of Pinellas Park. (reference material — annual report)
