UNIT 11 – VOCABULARY
- public limited company - a kind of public company (publicly held company) in the United Kingdom, some Commonwealth jurisdictions, and the Republic of Ireland. It is a limited (liability) company whose shares are freely sold and traded to the public, with a minimum share capital of £50,000 and the letters PLC after its name; javno društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću; otvoreno dioničarsko društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću;

- sole trader – sole proprietor - a type of business entity that is owned and run by one individual and in which there is no legal distinction between the owner and the business; (samostalni) preduzetnik;

- private limited company - zatvoreno dioničarsko društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću;
- incorporated - A firm or company that has been formed into a legal corporation by completing the required procedures; najčešće odgovara našem pojmu “akcionarsko društvo”;
- fishing tackle is the equipment used by fishermen when fishing. Almost any equipment or gear used for fishing can be called fishing tackle. Some examples are hooks, lines, sinkers, floats, rods, reels, baits, lures, spears, nets, gaffs, traps, waders and tackle boxes; oprema za pecanje;

- swansong - "Swan song" is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement. The phrase refers to an ancient belief that the Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) is completely silent during its lifetime until the moment just before death, when it sings one beautiful song.
