The SMASH Youth Project

Mentoring Programme – Induction Training for Team 29 The SMASH Project Office, Groundwell Industrial Estate

The following is an outline of the induction and training programme that all SMASH mentors must complete. SMASH very much appreciates the dedication and commitment of it’s volunteers and aims to make the training as relevant as possible to the task that they will be asked to do. Although there is not a formal pass mark candidates will be assessed by the trainers and project staff as part of the induction programme and a minimum level of understanding and competence will need to be demonstrated before a certificate is awarded and they go on to mentor a young person as part of the SMASH Project.
