Watson introduced new member Ken Durham, Pastor of 1st Baptist North Channel. Ken announced several singings scheduled for their church.

Watson then introduced new members Chuck Nelson and his daughter Loren LaDean. They live in Conroe and joined as The Nelsons. They were members several years ago.

The Savior Sisters, Christina and Katrina McMullen, gave the second mini concert. Their CD didn’t work so their Uncle accompanied them on his guitar. They sang Amazing Grace, I’ll Fly Away, My Savior, Redeemer, I Know A Man Who Can and Say The Name.

We had time for Loren to sing His Life For Mine. We appreciate the young talent in our organization.

Sally Currey had an idea for BAGMA to adopt a theme song to be sung at the close of our functions, as we did at the picnic. It is “Standing On The Solid Rock” and we will print the words in our next Trumpet for members to learn. Tootsie Dann lead us in singing it.

Helen Brinson closed the meeting in prayer.

Respectfully submitted,

Wilma C Bright, Secretary
